Healing Is Intentional: A Lifestyle, Not a Quick Fix

They say diets don’t work because you end up yo-yo’ing—it has to be a lifestyle change. Same with healing. Same with therapy.

This is a daily choice. Every decision you make should support your healing.
Not just the big ones—the tiny, quiet, unseen ones too.

I had to weed out the negativity in my life.
I bunkered down and built my own healing lab—a space just for me.
A space where I was finally safe to feel every feeling I had stuffed down for years.
I went back and saved little girl Jill.
I held her. I saw her. I let her cry.

During that time, even my social media became sacred.
No news. No noise.
Just affirmations, therapeutic posts, and people I personally knew.
I turned my feed into a journal—a timeline of my journey.

And the craziest part?
Everything they say to do—the things that sound so basic and cliché?
They work.
☀️ Sunshine
💧 Water
🚶🏽‍♀️ Light movement
🧘🏽‍♀️ Meditation and reflection
🧠 An open mind

These are not just habits.
They are superpowers.

And they—the ones who’ve been through it… the ones who’ve healed before me…
They found me.
They cheered me on.
They whispered, “Keep going. You’re doing it.”

I live by one truth now: “The truth shall set you free.”

I don’t just believe it. I live it—
Every single day.
Every single choice.
Every breath I take is part of my return to self.

Healing is not a one-time thing.
It’s a lifestyle.
And I believe this lifestyle will take me to the life I’ve always deserved.
